Episode 6 - Big Buck, part 1
He
did it again!
Team KTM’s Juha Salminen, won his 4th
straight GNCC in Union South Carolina on a bright
Sunday afternoon today. With the pressure mounting
and the pack all gunning for him, Juha stayed clam and
professional as he set the pace and continued to make
his mark on the sport. We caught up with Juha at the KTM
truck about an hour before the start of the race, Hear
Juha tell us about adjusting to the cross country format
and more. Be sure to check

Quad side,
Mike Huston of LTE racing captured his 1st
win of the season. It was wheel to wheel,

Episode 5 - Steel Creek, part 2
GNCCcast.com had an
opportunity to talk with both
250A racer Jessie Robinson and his dad
Jimmy Robinson at the Round 3 of the GNCC, held at
Morganton NC - Steel Creek. Jimmy gave us some
insight into Jessie and we got to hear just how
hardworking Jessie is. In just a few short years
this father and son team has made a real name for
themselves in the sport. We next heard from the racer
himself, Jessie Robinson, who went on to win the very
competitive 250A class at the 3rd Round of
GNCC Sunday the 26th of March.
Pro racer Paul Whibley, who joins the GNCC for the 1st
year after running the World Enduro Grand Prix continues
to let the North American racing public know who he is
by racking up 2 top 10 finishes in a row. Hear
Paul tell us all about his plans for this year.
We also caught up with
Pro Privateer racer Nathan Kanney, from upstate NY
during the 3rd Round of GNCC at Steel
Creek. Nathan brought us up to speed on his season
so far. Even with fighting off a nagging injury,
Nathan was able to finish 20th at Steel Creek
and still hold onto a 19th overall standing
in the GNCC points.
Meet
250-A rider, DR Atwood, who switched to Suzuki this
year and is leading the point standings in the hotly
contested class after the 1st 3 rounds.
DR tells us all about the switch and how Athens Sport
Cycle is keeping him racing. DR’s 2nd
place finish at Steel Creek makes three straight top 3
finishes for the season.
Meet
Pro Racer Shane Watts (#9) and hear all about his
plans for this year. Shane tells us why he likes
the GNCC and the cross country format and how he's had
his KTM 200 setup so he can keep racing and continue
being a top contender. Shane went on to place 18th
in round 3 of the GNCC at Steel Creek, and is working
his way back up the points standing. No worries, mate -
he'll get it done.

Justin Williamson Pro racer (#12) from Sanford, FL
who's in his second year as a pro and working to break
the top 10, We chatted with Justin right before his 2nd
GNCC race of the season. Justin tells us all about
training and the differences he finds as he moves from
his home base in FL to running the GNCC serious.
Justin, finished the General in 17th place and will keep

knows how to pick talent and they sure made a great pick
when they signed Paul Whibley.
Paul Whibley(#9), from Petersburg PA by way of New
Zealand, spent the last few years on the World Enduro
Grand Prix, and know he's here with us on the GNCC
circuit. We met Paul and heard all about his
transition from the grassy cross country runs down under
to the tight woods here. It appears he's a quick
study because he went from finishing 16th at the opener
to a 6th place finish at the General.

with our old friend
Wally Palmer (#305) 250 A,
from Atco NJ. Wally had a fuel problem last week
at the opener and after grabbing the hole shot in his
class and being way ahead of the pack things came to
sudden stop. Thanks to a little help from his
buddies at Team Suzuki and a lot of hard work he's still
working and holding on to 4th in 250 A.

Pro Racer, Cole Calkins, who's trying to battle his
way back up the ranks after a heart breaking injury last
year at the round 2 race, We chatted with him the
afternoon before the big race where he tried to reach
his goal of getting into the top 10 in the Pro final.
Cole, made his target and finished 10th in the Pro class
on Sunday at the General, great race Cole.
